I don't know how many people swing by every now and then, but I figured I'd start the recap off.

I've graduated...starting working as a Mechanical Engineer...it's alright, but I'm quite confident I have zero interest in doing it for an extended period of time. I'm working in pul and paper (not at all where I expected I would be), but I'm relatively close to home so that's always a bonus. I'm not sure where I intend to go, I've developed an interest for finance and have been trading (shh, don't tell my employers) occasionally at work, but mostly with some money in my rrsp and what used to be a leveraged options account that blew up during the last three weeks. is not the best job, but the demographic really favors my resume.

I scored a second degree in Life Sciences - more for being indecisive than anything - but I'd put in a few years work so it was important to me that I left with it.

I'm registered to write my CFA 1 in June 2012, Certified Financial Analyst, which will help with my career transition, but I fully intend to complete an MBA, I just want to build my resume as much as possible to get into the school I want. Believe it or not, I think Raz took the program I want - MBA at Western through Ivey. Parents still want me to push for medicine or dentistry (father is a dentist).

I had a girlfriend when I left school, but she moved to London England to start a masters that has turned into a PHD...so we're semi separated but if we ever live in a city again together before either of us meets someone I know we both still have embers burning somewhere.

I'm still driving my same old hunk of junk of a car and surprisingly have curbed my "spending ways" from university and have become quite a miser, although I would like to travel and am sure my car will put a stop to that soon.

I'm only just 24, but for whatever reason I still always feel behind some of the other people I know....I don't know why sometimes I just get anxious about what the future holds. Sometimes I actually put on Vienna, a song X recommended to me a while ago.

I've changed a lot since university some good (I completely stopped smoking pot - I was never addicted but its sometime I don't want to continue) and some bad - man it is easy to pack on the pounds once you stop playing football/rugby.

I'm finally completely financially independent of both debt and my parents and it feels good, but that lost feeling sometimes creeps back into my mind - indecisiveness about what to do for the future. Sometimes I wish I could just go travel somewhere and take a year off to find myself.

In the end i'm content, I'm working on the main thing right now which is my diet haha. They can't put the ice in fast enough up north here, nothing melts it away like hockey 5 times a week - the one perk of living in a rural area. Anyways....I'll leave you with a song that (I've been playing in a band for shits) my father loves and I love as so.

Seems like I need to find a woman and at least start pumping out babies so we can recruit, eh?

Most of us seniors have either graduated already or are graduating within the next couple of weeks. Well, that's it, that's the end of high school for us seniors. So I am making this thread for those of us who just graduated or are about to, and we can discuss what it's like, what you miss about high school, share memories, and just about anything else here.

Personally I have mixed feelings about this. One part of me is glad to finally be going out into the world as an independent adult, but another part of me is sad from never again being able to walk down these halls again, seeing all my friends at the same time, or experience all of the things I experienced before. At this point I even miss 7th & 8th grade to quite an extent.

So what are you doing after high school everyone? I'm going to college in early 2012 and going to get a job. I'm also going to finish Final Fantasy VIII and once I'm done with that, I'm going to beat every single Final Fantasy game in chronological order from I to XIII, excluding XII and XIV which are MMOs. What about you?
